Technologies can provide the player with various strategical or tactical advantages.

Researching

Researching a technology costs a certain amount of research points.

Researching a technology will take 1 turn. The technology a player is researching in any given turn will therefore become available at the start of the next turn.

There can only be one active research project at a time. Categories of Technologies

There are three categories of technologies that can be researched by the player:

  • Economic technologies provide income and resource bonuses

  • Military technologies provide units and combat advantages

  • Science technologies offer increased research point production and the science victory

Research Points

Every player generates 2 per turn.

Research points can be spent to research technologies or traded on the market.
